Field sales representatives for an East Coast jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler needed a replacement for their inefficient paper-based sales order process. Working remotely without access to the company IT system, representatives wrote orders on paper forms that were faxed to the home office and manually keyed into the Navision ERP system. GoIntegration Inc., a Miami systems integrator was selected to create a solution that would provide a mobile order entry and sales infrastructure that was integrated with the existing back-end system. A suite of handheld forms was developed using Pendragon Forms and named HandApps Field Sales. This solution has dramatically increased order efficiency, reduced the number of errors and omissions, and lowered the cost of processing orders.
