VERITAS Software offers a version of this popular database solution that creates a flexible, highly manageable platform for Oracle Parallel Server (OPS), the Oracle8i solution for sharing a database among multiple instances. VERITAS Database Edition/Advanced Cluster for Oracle8i integrates OPS and VERITAS Cluster Volume Manager with the cluster management and interprocess communication provided by VERITAS Cluster Server.
