Adam Aircraft Industries is headquartered near the Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification of the A500 is expected in 2003, and at that point, Adam Aircraft can fulfill on the more than $30 million in orders already received. Some elements of the aircraft, such as engines and radios, are purchased. The entire manufacturing and assembly process follows strict FAA guidelines and quality specifications. Adam Aircraft knew they needed an ERP system, and they wanted something that was easy to install initially and that could grow as the company grew. They chose PeopleSoft because it met these criteria and could help them achieve a key business process mission.
