The Health Informatics Teams in Central Lancashire and Fylde Coast have a proven record of planning and delivering robust health care solutions to the Service. Daryl Peter, Chief Executive, has an unparalleled reputation, as does many of her team, for leading NHS pilot projects. When presented with another initiative - integration with the NHS Directory Services - Daryl and her team recognized that much has recently been said and done about address books, directory services and email systems, but concluded that Central Lancashire and Fylde Coast did not have an integrated address book service and that they jointly needed to resolve this. The Central Lancashire and Fylde Coast Informatics Services set about changing the status quo and deployed NHS Directory Services.
