This white paper will provide HP e3000 customers, with a transition process roadmap to assess, analyze, select and manage the appropriate transition strategy for their HP e3000 solutions. This white paper will present some guidelines for implementing batch portions of applications on the recommended target platforms. It will also present some alternatives for porting the portions of applications that use MPE commands, either programmatically or from a colon prompt. This paper will identify the issues surrounding the migration of data files from HP e3000 to the target platforms.
