Design is an important yet often overlooked aspect of software development. A well-designed system reduces defects and implementation time of new features. Modeling tools exist to help provide a visual environment for understanding and manipulating these designs, however, in the past, these have often been difficult to use and not integrated well into development environments. This session demonstrates how to use a new modeling solution tightly integrated in Visual Studio .NET to design your software application. The session will discuss how to integrate design into the entire application lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
