Teachers, pupils and IT administrators are using Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office XP to enjoy interactive, multimedia solutions that make learning fun. In Warwickshire primary schools, teachers are displaying virtual Big Books on an interactive white board, enabling the whole class to see everything at the same time. In secondary schools, teachers are using colorful video and sound clips to demonstrate how the human body works. The solution is being remotely managed and supported by Warwickshire Local Education Authority IT staff from a central location, which is cutting support costs, improving productivity and increasing efficiency.
