The AS/400 (now iSeries) was introduced in 1988 as a powerful, scalable, flexible, reliable, easy-to-administer, and secure midrange computer. In recent years, the AS/400 successfully transformed itself into an eBusiness server by integrating new technologies that allow it to seamlessly interoperate with other servers while still maintaining its heritage. With this transformation has come increased connectivity, greater need for security and reliability, and a corresponding in risk. How can this risk be managed?
