Having outgrown its legacy UNIX platform, the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice needed to upgrade its Oracle-based Juvenile Tracking System to a scalable, Web-based architecture. By migrating to a Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Dell solution, the Department was able to upgrade its Oracle-based tracking system at one-third the cost while realizing tremendous gains in performance and scalability.
