Having consulted for a number of state and federal agencies, ACP identified the opportunity to offer remote asset, software and performance management services to those that did not have or could not afford these services internally. The service offering allows for greater utilization of IT resources, the ability to manage usage and accountability per user, and the discovery and measurement of software and its associated licensing. These Agencies are regularly funding unused software packages or receiving fines for using unlicensed copies of software. To provide this service, ACP utilizes SysTrack on a Microsoft Windows Platform as well as some custom applications produced with Microsoft development tools. The pilot program is proving to be very successful and is moving to full production by year-end 2003.
