Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department patrol a mountainous territory with intermittent wireless coverage. The City required a remote access solution that could deliver single sign-on authentication, bulletproof security and the ability to maintain applications sessions as officers travel in and out of coverage areas. In addition to addressing these requirements, Mobility XE also provided compatibility with the City's operating systems and deployed easily into their existing network architecture.
