Collegiate Funding Services, LLC (CFS), an experienced provider of financial product and service programs to the higher education and postgraduate communities, needed a platform to support the rapid growth, expansion, and integration needs of the business as well as to generate greater efficiencies and stability that the existing legacy system could not provide. When Collegiate Funding Services outgrew its legacy customer service system, it turned to the Microsoft .NET Framework. CFS built a base platform to provide a common architecture for all their applications, plus an application for processing loan applications, in half the expected time. The first Microsoft .NET-connected application has increased sales productivity by 55 percent, and is currently handling over 100,000 transactions per day.
