In this session we will discuss the benefit of Sun ONE Platform architecture and learn about some key components of Sun ONE middleware technology and products that are part of the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) architecture: Sun ONE Portal server, Sun ONE Application Server, Sun ONE Identity Server and Sun ONE Directory server. We will learn how to use these Sun ONE products in developing a web service or web application, and then focus on the best practices for deployment aspects such as Security, Performance, Scalability and Integration.
