E-kolay.net, which was set up in December 1999 and began operations in May 2000, is a subsidiary of Dogan Holding, a leading media company in Turkey. Due to changing market conditions and emerging needs, e-kolay.net wanted to expand beyond the mail services it offered to the consumer and corporate markets. Its primary goal was to offer value-added messaging services including calendaring, integrated messaging, and mobile messaging through a sophisticated, easy-to-use Web-based client. E-kolay.net chose the Microsoft Solution for High Volume Exchange. The Microsoft Solution for High Volume Exchange enables e-kolay.net to deploy and manage scalable Internet messaging services for small to medium-sized companies and consumers. The solution puts the service provider in a position to offer a wide range of services-from basic e-mail to higher-value services that offer additional storage, calendaring, and integrated messaging.
