Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC (MAP) is a combination of two of the nation's premier energy companies. To remain competitive and to excel, Marathon Ashland Petroleum relies heavily on well-trained and highly motivated employees. The company engages in extensive employee education activities, including the production and delivery of 60 to 70 video-based communications per year to offices throughout the world. They discovered that remotely located employees did not have access to much of the communication materials delivered through the video magazines. Concerned that important company messages might not be reaching everyone consistently, the Graphic Services group, in partnership with the IT and telecommunications organizations, began researching alternative forms of communication delivery, eventually focusing on streaming media and forming a dedicated Streaming Team.
