This paper describes how to construct an extranet in a prototype environment to examine how you can configure the Windows 2000 Server family to provide a secure extranet for business-to-business (B2B) collaboration through the Internet. Collaboration will be demonstrated by providing a set of internal and external users with read, write, create, and delete access to a common set of files by using both NTFS file system shares and shared Web folders.
