Credit Union Central of Ontario (Central) provides a full range of operational and financial services to its 220 member credit unions. Central needed a solution that would manage permissions for users beyond the basic application-level security that was in place. The solution also had to support SSL communications so that it worked seamlessly with existing applications on the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 platform. To meet its security and Web access management needs for present and future Web-based services, Central decided to implement RSA ClearTrust Web access management software in part to the implementation of RSA ClearTrust Web access management software.Central is estimating a 50 percent reduction in Web service-related calls to its help desk. This will allow Central to move key Web-related IT resources from pure Website maintenance roles over to strategic IT initiatives.
