One of the outsourcing services customer of Wipro Technologies is a leading optical equipment vendor, based in Canada. The company required a partner who could maintain their mature optical products. Wipro has set up an Offshore Development Center for the company, where specialized teams work to maintain their products. They provide them with a range of services from design and testing to feature enhancements for the firmware of their OC-48 product. The company has benefited greatly because 24X7 support is now available for their customers. A First Response team located at the client site actively diagnoses customer problems reported by field support personnel. This team also provides managerial services for priming feature development and managing various releases of the product.
