J2EE has proven itself in the market place to be the platform of choice for the development and deployment of Web-based, n-tier, transactional, component-based enterprise applications. This session starts with explaining the motivation for J2EE as open standard based enterprise application development and deployment platform. The core technologies that constitute J2EE platform such as Servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS, and Connector architecture, are then explained at conceptual level.
