Sernam (Service National de Messagerie - national messaging service), with 4,500 employees, handles the transportation of small parcels and freight using the railway network of the SNCF (French railways), of which it is a subsidiary. Sernam was spending a fortune to support diverse systems and desktops. To overcome this challenge they turned to Reflection software from WRQ. Ease of use, stability, the possibility of easy file transfer via FTP, and the vast choice of emulations available were the decisive factors in the initial choice of Reflection. Citrix and Reflection helped them dramatically reduce costs and improve productivity.
