PublisherSybase
Format WebcastDate added19 Jul 2003

Java is playing an increasingly important role in mobile and wireless computing. iAnywhere Solutions will discuss how Java can be used to create applications with local data storage and synchronization, allowing users to access critical data even while not connected to a wireless network. We will also provide information on advanced mobile messaging solutions using the Java Message Service (JMS) for building network and device independent applications today and in the future. This always available model will help companies address coverage/penetration and battery life considerations of wireless data networks. Also, we will discuss how to create wireless Internet applications using a J2EE-based framework (servlets, JSPs, etc.) to deliver device-appropriate content using automatic device identification and content generation.
