This paper explores the issues surrounding CORBA-EJB interoperability, with a particular focus on non-Java CORBA clients calling EJB servers. There is a standard for direct CORBA-EJB interoperability, but it is difficult to use and may be unworkable in many situations. This paper explains why this is the case, and shows how to avoid some of the worst pitfalls.
