Data Acquisition encompasses the scheduling and loading of a ‘raw’ data feeds into a FAME database. The FAME database can manage time series and non-time series data from service providers including: Reuters, Bloomberg, Datastream, FAME SiteServer, and other 3 rd party or internal proprietary ‘value added data’. Being ‘data neutral’, FAME allows an organisation to select their preferred sources of information. This data can then be warehoused in the same database alongside other sources of the same data.
