This paper will show an example of how to use Oracle Apps 11i and PVCS Change Manager to manage one type of Application Object Library (AOL) object within an Oracle database. The type of AOL object demonstrated in this paper is a concurrent program. To download the AOL object, a concurrent program is defined which creates a data file (LDT). PVCS Change Manager will then version the data file through Automated Versioning, compare the differences using Automated Change Finder, and migrate the AOL to another database using Automated Generation where the data file (LDT) gets uploaded back into the database.
