This Internet-Draft proposes a new header to allow sophisticated or automated WebDAV clients to request advanced status reporting rather than the single-code approach available today. This draft also proposes a simple XML format for the body of the error response. Finally, this draft proposes a number of "detail codes" expressed as XML elements, suitable for automatic processing of error conditions. These detail codes augment the existing response codes.
