Sun StorEdge® Network Data Replicator (SNDR) Ver 2.0 is a remote mirroring software product for the Sun Solaris operating systems from Sun Microsystems. SNDR lets you replicate volumes between different, physically-separate servers in real time. SNDR is intended to be used as part of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuance plans, which often rely on redundant storage of critical information across physically separate sites.
The primary site is the system where the production database is being accessed and
the secondary site is the system where either the standby Oracle database is
maintained (or) a real-time mirrored copy of the database is maintained. The
replication is handled by SNDR.
