Based on our OSCP testing, this document describes how to recover an Oracle database using Hitachi Open Remote Copy.
As part of the Oracle Storage Compatibility program (OSCP), Oracle provides tests for verifying if a remote mirroring
storage system can be used for Oracle database disaster recovery [1][2]. HORC has passed all necessary tests and therefore is
an OSCP compatible product. Based on our OSCP testing, this document describes how to recover an Oracle database using
HORC. Note that this guideline is for Oracle single instances; a guideline for OPS will be presented in the near future.
