Orbix 2000 Notification is an implementation of the CORBA Notification Service. It is an
extension of OrbixEvents adding the ability for event consumers to register subscriptions for events based on their type and contents using a standard constraint grammar. Orbix 2000
Notification also supports various levels of quality of service by enabling the configuration of
both the event channel and individual connections to the event channel.
Orbix 2000 Notification permits sophisticated communication between distributed objects based on events. This document describes Orbix 2000 Notification and the features provided by the Notification Service.
