The ‘VeDSL’ term is an Aware brand of a technology more broadly referred to in the DSL industry as "Channelized Voice over DSL", or CVoDSL. CVoDSL is supported by several leading DSL equipment and silicon vendors in standards-setting initiatives currently in progress at the DSL Forum and ITU. Aware works closely with these other supporters to integrate CVoDSL into future DSL standards. CVoDSL supporters collaborated to produce a whitepaper.
