This white paper is written for those who want ot integrate their corporate Directory Server with Mitel's Integrated Directory Services (IDS). IDS has been designed to operate out of the box with Microsoft exchange 5.5, but it will operate with any LDAPv3-compliant Directory Server that supports an extensible schema. Mitel’s IDS solution -- part of OPS Manager Release 6.0 -- integrates a corporate directory server with OPS Manager’s Telephone Directory and Move, Add & Change (MAC) applications. By exchanging additions, modifications, and deletions with the Directory Server, OPS Manager keeps its directory and the directories of the PBXs that are managed by it in synchronization with the Directory Server.
