The Perimeter Maps functionality is extremely useful in meshed networks that have redundant or multiple paths between the networks. Different Perimeter Maps can be defined for a network. Each Perimeter Map can be assigned a color so that each is easily identifiable on the Solsoft NP logical network map. The basic rule of Perimeter Maps is that a flow can never come back into a Perimeter once it has left it.
