The AMP MT-RJ System has been developed to simplify and reduce the costs of optical fiber cabling. Developed as a TRUE end-to-end fiber optic solution, the MT-RJ System provides the performance required for current as well as next generation applications. Its size and backward compatibility to copper-based connecting hardware make it the most significant development in fiber optic connectivity to date. The familiar latch design enables any user to accept the transition to fiber without a formal training program. MT-RJ is the future of fiber connectivity and is available for design and installation today. The AMP NETCONNECT Solarum System is designed to support existing LED-based horizontal and backbone fiber optic applications (such as Ethernet, Token Ring, Fast Ethernet, FDDI and 155 Mbps ATM, etc.) and new, bandwidth intensive, high-speed networking technologies (such as Gigabit Ethernet, 1.2Gbps ATM and beyond).
