Data Driven Access Control technology (DDAC), embedded in the DiamondTEK intelligent network security appliances from Cryptek Secure Communications, LLC, is a new approach for securing information in business to business e-commerce. DDAC provides the most powerful end-to-end risk mitigation capabilities known and makes the Internet safe for business use. DiamondTEK appliances add security policy enforcement mechanisms to the network infrastructure. DDAC combines these enforcement mechanisms with access control labels extracted from data stores to transform the normally vulnerable network infrastructure into a proactive security system.In many e-commerce applications, secure inclusion means maintaining separation of data from different owners along the entire path that the data takes from its source to a recipient. In many of the new Internet supply chain systems, data separation is the key to getting suppliers to participate in the new e-markets. When buyers and sellers share the same network infrastructure, analysis of buying patterns can tell a great deal about business operations and product plans.
