While Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) are well publicized and frequently discussed activities in the software development process, there is very little agreement as to their meaning or purpose. Unfortunately this disagreement is not limited to those new to object technology. Many experienced in the industry have similar difficulties understanding, and defining the terms.
