The two main influences on the validity of risk assessment results lie in the quality of the data that are input into the system, and the quality and execution of the risk model that is used to generate the results. Supporting the risk assessment process through implementation of the information management strategy will provide a significant overall reduction in the resources required to perform risk assessment and will improve the quality of the risk assessment process.
