Service providers can pretend that IP rules and refuse to carry anything else on their vMANs not exactly the way to build a contented customer base. Customers can lease their own dark fiber and light it up, asking their already overburdened staff to manage it or pay someone else to do the job. Either way, it’s trouble. Provisioning new sites is painful and painfully expensive. And once the private net is built, Internet access and other services still have to be rolled out.
