Providing security for eBusiness is a highly dynamic problem. The rapid evolution of applications and the numerous technologies that enable eBusiness create a quickly changing set of requirements for eBusiness security. Nowadays, the most commonly used security tools for eBusinesses are, Network security products, such as firewalls and intrusion detection, encryption and authentication tools, such as SSL and PKI. Unfortunately, such tools have no understanding of the eBusiness application itself. Therefore, they cannot address the most important eBusiness application security challenge: how to ensure that eBusiness applications interact with end users only in ways that were intended by the application’s developers. Ensuring the integrity of interactions between end users and eBusiness applications is at the heart of application security.
