Hotel ownership and management groups have identified the need to provide HSIA in guest rooms and meeting rooms. Jupiter Communications estimates that over two million rooms will be provisioned with HSIA by 2002. Hotels leaders recognize that to stay competitive and to generate substantial incremental revenue they must offer a HSIA solution. In addition, by taking data off of the PBX, hotels lower their telecom costs while increasing service.
